We are looking for a modal maker with experience/enthusiasm about automata, simple mechanics and puppets.
I am directing a low budget short film for Channel Four Random Acts and I really need help of some of the basic mechanics of my puppets. The puppets are very simple, think Fingermouse mixed with Alexander Calder. My main inspiration are simple folk toys where they operate with levers or small movements.
I would love to work with someone who is inventive and loves a simple solution on a low budget. It might be just for a few days or longer depending on how involved you would like to be.
Please send any photos of mechanics and moving parts from previous projects.
