Henning Larsen is looking for someone who is able to work in the Model shop in our Copenhagen office from August 2018. The duration of the internship is 6 months. This is a paid internship.
As an intern you will get the opportunity to work on both presentation and sketch models. Previous interns have worked on a large variety of models ranging from display models for the office, to quick foam volume models for showing concept. Whilst in the model shop you will be taking on projects individually and be in contact with architects. We are looking for someone who has an interest in working in 3D – both physically and on screen. You will need to have experience using Rhino and have a natural ability to making things by hand. Ideally, you have a bachelor’s degree in a creative field and have an interest in architecture and design. You are able to show and take initiative with projects. As a person, we expect you to be creative, ambitious, highly proactive, organised and self-disciplined. You have an eye for detail. Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills are also required. English speaking only.

For 15 years, we have created models, prototypes, sculptures, interactive museum models, furniture, sets etc for a large variety of customers in France and abroad.
We have a 600m² workshop with laser cutting and engraving capacities, 3D printing, CNC milling, a wood and steel workshop, paint booth, perspex transformation room, moulding room ....
We are situated in Rabastens, in the sunny south of France (Gaillac wine area) between Albi and Toulouse (20min car or train); 2:00hr to the east is the Mediterranean Sea (Narbonne, Perpignan, Beziers); 2:00hr to the west is the Atlantic Ocean (Bordeaux, Biarritz); and 1:30hr to the south are the Pyrenees mountains, ski resorts and Spain.
