DAS clay white 500g

A moist modelling clay which is ready to use, air-dries to a hard, durable, matt finish – without the need for firing.

• Will erode if water is added after drying.
• Apply a varnish to help protect the surface – ensure the item is fully dry first 
• Attempting to speed up drying by applying hot air may result in cracks.
• Since the surface will remain porous, prime the surface if applying paint.

Do not form around a hard armature – this is likely to create cracks as the clay shrinks slightly as the moisture evaporates out. Coating the wire armature with foam might minimise cracking issues.
