PAYMENT METHODS
Payments are processed securely through trusted partners PayPal & Stripe.
Stripe supports several card brands, from large global networks like Visa and Mastercard to local networks like Cartes Bancaires in France or Interac in Canada. When you integrate Stripe, you can begin accepting a diversity of card brands without any additional configurations, including: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover & Diners, China UnionPay (CUP), Japan Credit Bureau (JCB).
4D modelshop Ltd do not store your payment details.
DELIVERY SCHEDULE
If you are in UK based you must select 'Standard' delivery in the Shopping Cart.
If you pick 'Outside the UK' and you are UK based your order will be delayed & extra charges may be incurred.
If you are based outside the UK select 'Outside the UK' and we contact you about shipping.
Goods will be sent by Royal Mail or courier depending on the size and weight of the parcel. Timed deliveries can be arranged but will incur an additional cost.
Flammable items (in aerosols) are not permitted to be sent by Royal Mail.
London addresses: Deliveries can be made by bike or van by prior arrangement. Prices vary with postal district.
Northern Ireland and British islands: Where Royal Mail can be used they will be if it is necessary to use a courier the carriage charge will be quoted dependant on the size and weight of order.
Outside UK: it is not possible to transport flammable items and aerosols overseas.
For all other items carriage will be charged at cost plus a small handling charge. A quote for carriage will be given before dispatch; the cost is determined by the weight and size of the order.
Please note we cannot be responsible for late deliveries due to adverse weather conditions.
CLICK & COLLECT
During the ordering process you have the option to tick against the items you wish to collect. A delivery charge will be added to the order if any items within the order have not been ticked and we will assume you wish to have that/those delivered. These will not be included in the package for collection.
Your order should be ready for collection within 4 working hours of the time you placed the order (Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm).
Please do not attempt to collect (or have collected by a third party) an order before you’ve received the ‘ready to collect’ email. Please place your order by phone if you need to be given a more accurate idea of when your order will be ready to collect. Every effort will be made to process your order as quickly as possible.
Stock levels are not live on our web site. We will call you if we cannot supply an item or the full quantity.
We regret we cannot process click and collect requests on Saturdays or Bank Holidays (we are closed on Sundays), although you may collect on Saturday (and Bank Holidays, when we are open) an order for which you have received a ‘ready to collect’ email.
To be sure of being able to collect your parcel(s) on the same day (Monday to Friday), please place your order no later than 1pm.
After you received the ‘ready to collect’ email the parcel(s) will be ready for collection in our ‘Unit 3’ (third railway arch) except on Saturdays, when you (or your agent) may collect by calling into the shop.
We would appreciate your agent knowing the exact name of the person and/or business name and not just the postcode. An invoice and your credit/debit card slip will be attached to the parcel, or a delivery note if you have a credit account with us.
It is unlikely that it would be practical for you to collect an order placed after 1pm on a Friday until Saturday – or Monday if your business operating hours are Monday to Friday
STUDENT DISCOUNT
If you are a student or an educational institution you are entitled to 10% off all our products.
To apply, tick the Student Account box & fill out the student account information when registering.
Student accounts are reset at the start of the acedemic year, when you will be asked to apply again.
BACK ORDERS
If your item is not in stock we will hold a back order for you.
If you have provided an email address and/or a telephone number you will always be contacted with the option of cancelling your order if you would rather not wait.
TO ORDER ITEMS
Unfortunately we cannot return to order items unless they are proved to be damaged or faulty upon receipt.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY & PRICING
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, 4D modelshop shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product(s) listed at the incorrect price. 4D modelshop shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, 4D modelshop shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Prices stated include VAT at the current rate.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Our software uses 128 bit Encryption for the transfer of credit card details.
Encryption occurs on your PC and decryption only occurs on our PC. At no stage is the transaction decrypted whilst it travels over the Internet. You can usually check

If you are in any way unhappy with your purchase return it to us in "AS NEW" condition within 30 days of receiving it for a full refund. We will not reimburse shipping costs unless the item is being returned because of an error on our behalf or the item sent is faulty.
Please open the packaging of your item carefully before checking it. The condition of packaging is in most cases as important as the condition of the item itself.
