Postcard models Public House.

A classic, no nonsense pub. A place to shoot some pool and have a few bevvies with your mates. This is a rendered building, so it will require polyfiller – textured coating. A double ridged roof, two porches and wrap around pub windows. Comes with a number of signs or you can personalise it to make it your local.

  • Kit contains: 1 sheet of wooden building elements, Oilcard roof / window / door elements, 4 strips of clear acetate.
  • Assembly & decoration required
  • Scale: 1:220 / Z Scale
  • Difficulty: Moderate

To complete this kit you'll need: Cutting mat, scalpel, small file (nail file is fine), lightweight filler, PVA glue & a selection of paints/marker pens.

Textured paste or similar (eg Foamcoat) if you want to achieve the wall surface shown in the image of the finished model.

Notes:

  • Some elements may be labelled with a name which differs from the model name – rest assured that the correct pieces are in your kit.
  • There’s an image of the finished model at the back of the instruction leaflet.
  • Read all the instructions through before starting your model
  • Always fit a new scalpel blade to your knife before starting
  • Use a file to remove any excess wood from the retaining tabs
  • Paint the pieces before assembling (paint edges after removing from card) and touch up after you have put the model together
  • Use a modelling square or the square grid on your cutting mat to ensure the assembled model is square (check at each stage of assembly)
  • Assemble the model using the tabs
  • Not a toy – not suitable for children
