Balsa wood has an excellent strength to weight ratio making it a very useful model making material for architectural model building, animation & theatre design set modelling and wood crafts.

It especially lends itself to building model airplanes as its light weight and warp resistant.

To increase strength to finished wood apply a Sanding Sealer.
