Carbon fibre rods for model making and design projects.

These carbon rods are 1000mm long.

A range of diameters are available (see the drop down box).

Carbon fibre rods have many applications including:

• Prop construction
• Structural base for cosplay / LARP armour and weapons
• Pull/push rods in robotics
• Srengthening spars for radio controlled model boats, cars and planes
• For making sports equipment including kites.

For best results, cut using a fine tooth hacksaw or fine cutting disc and smooth using a good quality file (a junior hacksaw is also an option):

• Use masking tape at the approximate place for cutting (this will minimise the chance of any splintering).
• Mark the cutting line on the masking tape.
• Smooth the cut surface using a good quality file.
