Brass round tube.

These brass tubes have a thin wall (most are 0.225mm).

304mm long brass round tubes for architectural model making, engineering, animation, model railway, dioramas and other scratch building projects.

• Brass can be milled, drilled, sawed, and soldered.
• Cut using a tubing cutter, circular saw or with a hacksaw.
• If you don't want to solder, best joined using a two part epoxy or superglue.

• The wall thickness of all these tubes is 0.225mm except for ST10008 (0.15mm) and ST10801 (0.45mm).

Brass forms a greyish-green layer on the surface, which you should remove (sand, polish) before soldering. After polishing, to preserve the shine, apply a clear laquer to the surface. Our Workshop staff use Hycote Clear Gloss on their brass etching work.
