MDF sheet

MDF boards are versatile strong boards with a smooth surface allowing for a precision finish, especially suited for model making projects.

• Sheet size: 245 x 500mm (sheet dimensions could vary by up to 5mm).
• Sheet thickness: 1.0mm*
• Pack size: 3 sheets
• Smooth on both sides, rigid, sandable and an ideal material when using mini electric tools.
• Can be painted with both water based and spirit based paints.
• It is recommended that MDF is sealed before spraying with spirit based paints, this can be done by using diluted PVA or a primer.
• Glue with PVA, UHU and super glues.
• Always wear a dust mask when cutting and sanding MDF.

*Supplied to us as 1mm, we have found there may be +/- 0.2mm tolerance but mostly exactly 1mm. We regret we can’t accept responsibility if not exactly 1mm.

Can become flexible if laser cut like this 3mm piece we made into a desk tidy.
